• Spanierman Modern, New York will feature several
of Lisa's latest oil paintings in the group exhibition
Fifteen Contemporary Artists, on view January 19—
February 18, 2012 at their Midtown Manhattan gallery,
53 East 58th Street. Opening Reception: Thursday,
January 19, 6-8 p.m.
• Lisa's color monotype Indigo (2010) is featured as the
cover illustration for Ken McCullough's recently published
collection of poems, Sicomoro Oropéndola: Poemas,
Medellín, Columbia: Sílaba Editions, 2011; with Spanish
translations by Rafael Patiño Góez.
• Thomas McCormick Gallery, Chicago, will present Lisa's
most recent paintings in the solo exhibition Lisa Nankivil:
Flying Dreams, on view October 22—December 10, 2011.

• In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the collaborative
print workshop Highpoint Editions, the Minneapolis Institute
of Arts will present Highpoint Editions—Decade One, a
retrospective exhibition of original prints made in conjunction
with Highpoint's renowned visiting artist program. On view at
the MIA September 24, 2011—June 10, 2012, the exhibition
will feature works by Carlos Amorales, Santiago Cucullu, 
Mary Esch, Rob Fischer, Adam Helms, Cameron Martin, Julie
Mehretu, Lisa Nankivil, Todd Norsten, Chloe Piene, Jessica
Rankin, David Rathman, Carolyn Swiszcz and others.

• Spanierman Modern, New York, will present a selection of
Lisa's recent paintings in Lisa Nankivil: Lines of Inference,
on view July 21—September 2, 2011 at their Midtown gallery,

• The Minnesota State Arts Board has awarded Lisa a 2011
Artist Initiative Grant—Visual Arts with funding provided by
Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. This $10,000
grant will support a year-long project exploring the technical
and artistic implications of using non-toxic materials, methods,
and equipment in traditional printmaking. Lisa wishes to thank
the MSAB and the citizens of Minnesota for this generous
support.

• New Prints 2010, featuring Lisa's monotype Indigo
(2010), will be on view at the Visual Arts Center,
University of Texas at Austin, January 28—March 12,

• The International Print Center New York (IPCNY) is featuring
Lisa's color monotype Indigo (2010) in the tenth anniversary
edition of the Center's annual showcase exhibition New Prints 2010/Autumn, on view October 21—November 20, 2010. The
exhibition will travel to the Visual Arts Center at the University
of Texas at Austin, where it will be on view January 28—March 12,

• The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art has acquired Lisa's
paintings Leavening Agent (2006) and With Open Hands (2007)
for their permanent collection through the generous gift of Carolyn
Eason in memory of her late husband Don Eason. The paintings
are featured in Thirty Years of Collecting: A Recent Gift to
the Museum, a special exhibition showcasing the donation of the
Eason's extensive collection of contemporary art. On view
