In addition to her series, Lisa is pleased to share a body of work titled, “”. This work is ongoing, and continues to be created in unique circumstances.
As Nankivil notes: “In 2018, my husband Ardy and I sold our house and divested of most of our possessions. We bought a sailboat in the Pacific Northwest and a Sprinter Van. We have been living a nomadic life traveling where the wind and weather take us for the past three years. My gouache paintings, digital paintings and slow motion videos have been done on the move, when and where I can find places to work. In varied locales, from the desert in Joshua Tree CA, and shores of the San Juan Islands WA, to the mangroves of Key Largo FL, and the Bitterroot Mountains of MT, I’ve found new ways to record my observations living in nature.”
